Ned Kelly StatueItems in the North East Local History Room
Located within the Wangaratta Library, the North East Local History Room holds the majority of local history resources for High Country Library Corporation. Books relating to all of North East Victoria can be found here, with coverage from Mount Beauty to Mansfield. It includes out of print publications, microfiche and microfilm information and many accounts of the life and times of Ned Kelly. Items in this room are not for loan, but you are welcome to take notes and approach library staff to determine if photocopying is permissible. This room has the same opening hours as the Wangaratta Library.

A roving collection of genealogy CD-ROM resources with laptop and printer visits each branch for one month out of every six. The collection includes birth death and marriage records for Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland and South Australia; Census of England for 1861; and England and Wales Death Index 1984-2000.
