What we've got


	Books, dvds and more……… We have a wide range of books for children of all ages, including picture books, young readers and junior and teenage novels. If you are looking for books during the Premier’s Reading Challenge or the MS Readathon, we can help you find something exciting to read.


	Our junior non-fiction section can offer you and your children all the answers to hard questions. How do bees make honey? Why do volcanoes erupt? How do I look after my new pet rabbit? There are also many books on life issues such as bullying, puberty and chronic illnesses.


	You or your child can use resources such as Encyclopedia Britannica online, or Science database, to help with homework. Simply go to Databases on the left hand column.


	We also have DVD’s, CD-books, playaways and CD-ROMS. You will be amazed at what we can offer your child.


	Check the events page for pre-school story time and rhyme time sessions for babies held in our branches.


	We also offer school holiday activities to help keep your children entertained. Most of our sessions are free, although, we may ask for a nominal fee for some activities where extra materials need to be purchased. Bookings may be required so check the events page for activity details before the next school holidays.


	Our staff are always on hand to recommend a good book for your child or to help you locate information. Please just ask.
